Who We Are
Outstretched Arms H.E.R. exists to meet women and single mothers at their point of crisis — with dignity, presence, and the kind of care that does not disappear when the emergency passes.
Founded in 2009, we are a sister ministry of God's Storehouse — 17 years of serving women in Roseville, Michigan. H.E.R. is where that presence speaks directly to women's lives — healing, empowering, and restoring from the inside out.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Psalm 46:1

"With a strong hand and a stretched out arm: for His mercy endureth forever." — Psalm 136:12
01
When a woman has nowhere to go tonight, we work to place her in a room as quickly as possible — often the same night.
02
Back rent and utility bills paid as funds allow — helping families stay housed and warm.
03
Refrigerators, stoves, and beds for children — provided as donations allow.
04
No mother should have to choose between feeding herself and her baby. We provide diapers and formula whenever supply allows.
05
Biblical (pastoral) counseling and women's circles — supporting healing through faith and community. Not a substitute for licensed clinical care.
06
Move-in costs, security deposits, and transition funds — as funds allow — for women starting over, including those leaving abusive situations.
